I've only had the monitor for about a day now, but I was so impressed by it that I just ordered another one. The contrast and clarity is truly amazing. I've used many different LCD monitors and while my favorite continues to be the Apple 20" Cinema display, this is now my 2nd favorite (and as I am getting accustomed to the pivot feature, the Apple display may be in trouble...). Yes, it comes with a pivot display mount that not only allows you to raise, lower, tilt and turn the montior to any position imaginable, it also lets you rotate the screen 90 degrees to portrait mode. Unlike the more expensive rotatable monitors that have an 'auto-sensing' thingie which automatically switch your display output between portrait and landscape based on the position of the monitor, this one requires you to use a software utility (included) to manually select the orientation of the output. To be honest, I didn't even realize this was a feature on this monitor. I based my initial purchase decision on the manufacturer specs and price. Since this was intended to replace a 21" Sony CRT on my development PC, image quality was secondary to form factor and price. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the display and I was extremely pleased to discover the rotation feature.
I was originally going to mount this monitor on a VESA arm, but after using the included stand, I'm having second thoughts. The stand itself is the best that I've ever seen on an LCD monitor. It allows for good cable management and almost infinite adjustability while not presenting a huge footprint.
Anyway, so far, this seems to be an outstanding monitor for the price (actually cheaper than many crappier 17" LCDs I've seen). Though, you do need to shop around for the best price since I've seen it range from $549 to $800+. It's unusual to see such a wide range in the street price. I ended up getting it from Amazon because with the free 'super saver free shipping', it came out to be darn near the best deal (and I've had nothing but good experiences with Amazon so far).

Conclusion - do NOT buy one of these monitors! At this price and value, you NEED to get at least two (dual monitor setups are shweeeeet!!). :-)
Amazing picture

I bought the Samsung 910T monitor to replace my 17" inch CRT, the difference is amazing! Awesome picture, colors, sharpness, and brightness. Setup was very easy, no dead pixels. I did a lot of research, my brother has a viewsonic vp191b, which is considered one of the best monitors in the market, I am so glad I bought this one instead, I compared them both next to each other, and no noticeable differences between them, in fact the 910T Text looked much better , and paying about 150 bucks less, I think I did the right choice.
I sure recommend this monitor, I am in love with mine.
In portrait all the time

I've had this monitor for a week and I love it. It's attractive, bright, sharp, and relatively inexpensive. It's the purchase I've been happiest with in a long time. I even ordered it with FREE Super Saver Shipping and it arrived two days after I ordered it. I originally thought that I would switch back and forth between the landscape and portrait modes (which is easy to do with the supplied software), but it hasn't left portrait mode since I put it there. Portrait's just better for every application (web browsing, reading PDFs, working in Word, programming...). I guess it's not better for watching movies, but I don't do that on the computer. I highly recommend trying a monitor that can rotate like this.

So far my father and a friend have seen my monitor and both immediately bought it too. (My father also bought it on Amazon with the cheapest shipping and it arrived within two days.)

I can see one bad pixel on mine, but I think that's not uncommon with large LCDs. It only shows up on a black background, not one white, so it's mostly unnoticeable.
A terrific monitor for the office or home

I've had the Samsung 910T 19" LCD monitor (black) for over two months now, and it is great. Mine arrived with no dead pixels and it as clear today as it was when I bought it. Plug and play all the way. While the monitor supports both analog and digital, I use it in analog mode since my computer doesn't support the superior digital mode. I haven't used the monitor rotating function which allows you to rotate the screen 90 degrees for a portrait view. I am at my computer 8 hours a day with no problems. There are two versions of the stand, one is kind of a v-shaped wedge and the other is perpendicular. The difference is cosmetic. I was the third person at my job to get this screen, and since then, three others have bought this.
The best picture I've ever seen, Just some small oddities

Very good, crisp & bright monitor, however I can't get it to run at any more than 60 Hz, in _any_ resolution, this is disappointing me. There isn't any good paper documentation with it, and the online docs are harder to follow than other products that I've used. An internal power supply is a plus for this monitor, and you can rotate it. I also use the dual input to my advantage, and have one system on the DVI and another on the analog, and it makes it easy to have two computers use the single display to minimize desk clutter of another monitor. There is a pin in the back that you need to remove to raise the monitor up and down, it's very stubborn and you feel like you're going to break something when removing it, but it will come out with some effort.

I may sound like I'm ripping on this product quite a bit, But I really do love it, it's certainly got the best picure of any monitor I've used, and it takes up next to no space on my desk and offers a clean way to clear up my workspace. I am considering getting one or two more of these for a multi monitor setup.
