This 19 inch monitor is perfect for a home office.
The screen is matte, which reduces glare, but has the effect of slightly dimming brightness relative to the newest widescreen LCD's that don't have a matte finish. The monitor is plenty bright, just not as bright as monitors without a matte finish.
There are four USB ports, two along the bottom and two along the side. I find the two along the bottom somewhat difficult to access.
There are dual monitor inputs as well. The monitor could be attached to two different computers at the same time. A push of a button on the front panel would switch from one computer to the other.
I own 8 of these, and none have had dead pixels.
Also standard is a quick release plate. This allows you to take the monitor off the stand and easily attach it to a different stand, bracket, wall mount or stand-alone multi-monitor array. This is a feature I have taken advantage of and I find it quite handy.
The bezel around the edge of the monitor is 1/4" wide, if you are considering a multi-monitor setup.
The box includes an upstream USB cable to connect the monitor USB ports to your computer. By using this cable, you replace one USB port on your computer with four on the monitor.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. |
