Great Monitor, good Value

Review Date: November 29, 2009

The finish of the LCD monitor looks great. What I like the most are: its resolution; built in webcam (at least $40 value) that has clear images and sound, and saves space; the touch sensitive controls (menus); and built in 4 USB port (two on the side, two behind the screen).

Highlights

* Comes with Integrated 2.0 megapixel Webcam with Dell Webcam Central software for an easy-to-use integrated package
* 1680x1050 pixels resolution allows for sharp and brilliant images
* Features 300 cd/m² brightness and 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for high color accuracy and uniformity
* Offers a viewing angle of 160° horizontal and 150° vertical
* Delivers an ultra fast 2 ms response time helps prevents smearing and ghosting
* Easily detachable from stand to allow wall-mounting (wall mount sold separately)
* VGA & DVI inputs
Excellent Monitor

Reviewer: J. Myles,
I was surprised and extreemly pleased at the quality of this monitor. I had searched for a HD monitor with webcam. This monitor was not easy to find. I am truly pleased with it. It is the best monitor that I have ever owned in my 23 years as a computer engineer. If I have one complaint it is that the webcam shows EVER flaw. So gentlemen if you need a shave the webcam will show it.
Amazing picture quality.......

I just bought 2 (for designing purposes) of these monitors. The picture quality is very good. I love the touch feature on the side of the screen and the 4 usb ports that each monitor has. The only thing is that i bought them directly from Dell when also buying a new desktop and got a good deal $200 per monitor(new).
